CBA Representing Clardy Family in Wrongful Death Claim

At age 41 and after having given birth to three children, Traci Clardy decided to improve her appearance, specifically in the abdominal area, with plastic surgery at the Elite Plastic Surgery clinic in Aventura.

The morning after her operation, she was found dead.

Now nearly two years after her death, the law firm of Cohen, Blostein & Ayala, which represents Clardy’s family, has given notice of its intention to sue the Elite clinic, the recovery center where the woman spent her last hours, Serenity Recovery Retreat, and the doctor who performed the abdominoplasty and liposuction, Moisés Salama.

According to documents submitted by the lawyers, Clardy was operated on Monday, June 6, 2016 at the plastic surgery clinic located at 21097 NE 27th Ct and then transferred to a recovery center at 4327 Jefferson Street, Hollywood, arranged through the clinic.
