On Tuesday, Florida Supreme Court Chief Judge Charles Canady named Jay Cohen to the 17-member task force that will develop recommendations for the gradual safe return of Florida courts to pre-coronavirus outbreak operations. The group is tasked with, among other things, identifying proceedings that could be resolved through remote technology and providing guidance based on public health expertise for protective measures for the safe return of courthouse personnel, judges, lawyers, jurors, and the general public to court facilities.
